Renewable Energy

Sustainable Solar Power

Spanning 46+ acres, our solar farm generates enough electricity to power approximately 750 homes, providing clean energy by reducing greenhouse gases and air pollution emissions. Enjoying the benefits of solar energy and the satisfaction in preventing pollution is made possible for our homeowners with the help of Strata Clean Energy. Additionally, 12 acres of native grasses and wildflowers have been planted here to provide habitat and food source for birds, butterflies and other insects.

LEED-Certified Buildings

We’re proud to say many buildings in Chatham Park are LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified. The most widely used green building rating system in the world and available providing a framework for healthy, highly efficient, and cost-saving green buildings.

Green Space

The Restorative Power of Nature

We set aside nearly 2,000 acres (or 1/3 of Chatham Park) for parks or open space as part of our commitment to create a sustainable live, work, play community. Our parks and open space will allow residents to enjoy the restorative power of nature. The first of many planned community parks is now open! Bring a picnic basket to Knight Farm Community Park and enjoy the sprawling 10-acres of green.

Connectivity

As part of our pursuit for connectivity, we offer lightning-fast 5G internet to all Chatham Park residents. We make sure that each home comes pre-wired and is Wi-Fi ready the day you move in because whether you are working from home, experiencing distance learning, or just staying in touch with family and friends, you need high-speed internet that is fast and productive.

Water Conservation

Recover. Recycle. Reuse.

Chatham Park’s Water Recovery Center is revolutionizing the way the community handles both stormwater and disposal of greywater by turning it into a renewable resource. Our water system provides a sustainable source of water for irrigation and cooling down commercial machinery. It is an investment into the future of our ecosystem and one of only two such onsite systems in the entire country!
