Go Outside and Play

One of our favorite things about living in North Carolina is the weather. Every day can hold an outdoor adventure whether you prefer biking or walking, kayaking or swimming, serving or splashing. We’ve got plenty of passive and active recreation options for residents and day-trippers alike.

Paddles is Chatham Park’s newest recreational outdoor amenity. The private swim and pickleball amenity features a six-lane competition-style pool and slide, a kiddie pool, eight pickleball courts, including four courts with lights, and a concession stand. Memberships are now available to all Chatham Park residents and to the public.

Community Parks

Chatham Park will have multiple community pocket parks throughout the neighborhoods with a variety of outdoor amenities and features. Our first community park is now open in Vineyards—come out and play! The 10-acre Knight Farm Community Park features a variety of play areas including a play garden, splash pad, dog park, a sports field, zipline, and a walking trail.

When the 30+ miles of greenways and bike trails are completed, they’ll connect neighbors and neighborhoods, creating plenty of opportunities to live, work, play and learn in our community. Maintaining an active lifestyle is made easy with bike lanes and recreational areas that are always just a short walk away.
