The Great Outdoors

New Adventures Daily

One of our favorite things about living in North Carolina is the weather. Every day can hold an outdoor adventure whether you prefer biking or walking, kayaking or swimming, serving or splashing. We’ve got plenty of passive and active outdoor recreation options for residents and day-trippers alike.

When the 30+ miles of greenways and bike trails are completed, they’ll connect neighbors and neighborhoods, creating plenty of opportunities to live, work, play and learn in our community. Maintaining an active lifestyle is made easy with bike lanes and recreational areas that are always just a short walk away.
