Thales Academy
In April 2022, Thales Academy, a private K-12 school with 12 campuses in North Carolina, opened its Pittsboro campus in Vineyards at Chatham Park educating kindergarten through 7th graders. Welcoming Thales Academy gives students in Chatham Park the unique opportunity to receive a high-quality education while experiencing the innovation of a constantly changing and growing community. Chatham Park donated 17 acres of land to Thales Academy in the Vineyards neighborhood to build the school. Thales Academy Founder and Chairman Bob Luddy says Thales operates with the underlying mission to cultivate tomorrow’s leaders by teaching students how to think rather than telling them what to think. We are proud to have Thales Academy just a walk or bike ride away from residents living in Vineyards at Chatham Park to provide students with an exceptional, well-rounded, high-quality education.

Amazing Explorers Academy
Coming soon to Vineyards at Chatham Park is Amazing Explorers Academy. An educational destination pioneering the STEAM curriculum for young minds from 6 weeks old to 12 years old to encourage positive, lifelong learning. The program is centered around fostering early skills like exploring, investigating, social learning, and more with integrations of science, mathematics, technology, and engineering. Unlike the curriculums of many surrounding daycares and preschools, the academy’s STEAM program takes a hands-on approach by engaging curiosity and inspiring interest in learning 21st century skills. In addition to its standard programs, Amazing Explorers Academy will also offer a variety of vacation and summer programs. These STEM-themed camps, available for ages 5-12, will provide engaging and enriching experiences for Chatham County children during the summer months. Like Thales Academy, Amazing Explorers Academy will also be located within walking and biking distance for residents living in Vineyards at Chatham Park.
