Chatham Park proudly calls Chatham County home. Known for its vibrant community, rolling hills, and rich agriculture, our county shines as a North Carolina gem. Both residents and visitors cherish its deep-rooted traditions, particularly the support for local farmers and artisans. As summer unfolds in Chatham Park, treat yourself to one of Chatham County’s farmer’s markets and experience firsthand the benefits of shopping locally. Here’s a few of our favorites:

MOSAIC at Chatham Park Market: For those craving a mid-week escape, the MOSAIC at Chatham Park Market takes place every first Wednesday of the month. Located at The Works Yard Paseo (367 Freedom Pkwy, Pittsboro, NC), this evening market from 6-8 pm offers local goods and special music performances amidst MOSAIC’s lively community.

Fearrington Farmers Market: This producer-only market is now in its 30th season. Every Tuesday afternoon, Fearrington Village comes alive at Fearrington Farmers Market (E Camden, Fearrington, NC), just north of Chatham Park. From 4-6 pm, locals explore the farm-fresh produce and handcrafted goods – grown or made for healthy, happy living.

Pittsboro Farmers Market: Nestled under the solar panels at The Plant in Pittsboro (220 Lorax Lane, Pittsboro, NC), the Pittsboro Farmers Market invites guests to indulge in the best of the region’s produce, flowers, fresh seafood, eggs, meat, and more, every Thursday from 3-6 pm. This producer-only market features vendors who grow, raise or create their products within a 50-mile radius of the market.

Chatham Mills Farmers Market: For early risers seeking fresh finds, the Chatham Mills Farmers Market opens every Saturday from 8 am to noon on the lawn of Chatham Mills (480 Hillsboro St, Pittsboro, NC) in downtown Pittsboro. Against the historic backdrop of this renovated textile mill, vendors showcase their produce, crafts, health and wellness products, and more, creating a dynamic atmosphere with countless options for shoppers.

Whether you’re a Pittsboro resident or curious newcomer, Chatham County’s farmers markets provide more than just shopping opportunities. They serve as a hub for community involvement, creating connections between producers and consumers, all while celebrating the wealth of goods sourced right from our backyard. So, mark your calendars and get ready to explore the heart of Chatham County’s agricultural landscape – where each purchase tells a story, and every market visit is an adventure.
